Dessert Party online reservation question

Hi everyone!

I am hoping to eventually get a reservation for the dessert party for my upcoming January trip. I know January isn't open yet, but I went to the restaurant page and started to fill in the form to check availability anyway. I found that I am unable to change the number of people in the party. I am using an iPad and I tried both the Safari and the Chrome browsers, and I can't access the pull down for party size (its stuck on 2). I have made other reservations for my trip successfully, with the correct party size, so I can't figure out what is going on with this one.

Has anyone else had this problem when trying to book the dessert party online? Is my only option to call when January opens?

I think the problem is because reservations are not open for the party. Subscribe to THIS thread. It is the watch thread when reservations open for the party.

I have the same problem. Can't change the number of people on my iPhone - and can't find the party in the app. It has nothing to do with whether the party is open or not, I have tried a variety of dates.

Thanks for the replies! I have tried many different dates, including October and November and can't change the party size but I did just figure out a workaround:

Go to the Disney homepage
Under "Things to do" select "Make dining reservations"
Enter any date, and your desired party size in the search
Find TT dessert party in the list and access it from there
Now the party size will be locked at your actual party size instead of 2 when you try different dates

I was also unable to change party size on my iPad I was then able to do so with no problem on my laptop.

THANK YOU! I saw your post and was able to get my reservation for Jan 29th

I made the reservation on my PC like Lsdolphin said and had no issues!
