Has anyone tried the Dessert Party during the MNSSHP?
Is it a good view of the parade? The Fireworks?
What time does the Dessert Party start on a MNSSHP night?
And can you bring a stroller onto the Tomorrowland Terrace or is there parking elsewhere?

1- Poor, but you can watch the 8:15 "Boo" parade (in Frontierland) before you enter, unlike Spectro.
There's also a 10:30 "Boo" parade.
2- Good
3- 8:30, if it is one hour prior to the show, like during regular Wishes.
4- No idea. But there's no room in the actual tables area with guests.

That's Robo.

Any other opinions?
Since it was just extended YET AGAIN, it's now available for my dates.
I was wondering if it was worth it and if it would be a better place to view the fireworks.
Can the little ones sit by the rail (I imagine they'll be exhausted)?

Can the little ones sit by the rail?

Virtually everyone must go to the rail to see the show.
Most views at the restaurant tables are completely blocked.

I personally wouldn't do the Dessert party the same night as either the MNSSHP or MVMCP. You've already invested $50+ for the party and there is SO much to do and see that I can't imagine sitting in that area for a good hour and 1/2 just to enjoy some desserts with an ok view for another $23.

I've been to 8 parties total and I much prefer the view of the fireworks from Main Street (not too close to the castle though or you miss some that go off behind it) and I have always been able to get a standing spot arriving around 9:00p, even 9:15p for the fireworks.

What I like to do is when I arrive we trick or treat and see characters and do rides up until we go to get a spot at 9:00p for the fireworks and next we go get a spot on Main Street for the second parade (while the kids stay for the 10:05p Villians show) and then they join us on Main Street to watch the parade. Then boom, it's all over. We are usually wiped by this time and head out.

The party goes by SO fast.

And no, you cannot see the parade much at all from the dessert party location.

Pretty good spot to see the fireworks - they will not let you drag chairs to the rail to sit to see the fireworks though.

we are doing the dessert and MNSSHP the same night. I don't mind missing the first parade and it was the only night during our stay that they had availability. This trip is my end of fiscal year splurge promised by my darlin, so I'm living it up!!

We did the dessert party during MNSSHP. Honestly...I think it was a really great experience. No...you couldn't see the parade...but we watched the second one that night. As far as the fireworks...I thought it was a great spot to see them. I'll post some of my pics from the buffet and the fireworks in a bit. As far as the strollers...there's a whole area not utilized for the party, and I saw several strollers parked up near the entrance. They won't let you drag chairs to the railing, but you are more than welcome to stand at the railing, which is what we did. :)

Here are some pictures from the MNSSHP on Sept. 11th. The fireworks pics are the best I can do with my current camera....and are in no way representative of what you can actually view from that area. It's much more impressive in person. :)

Is the view of the spectro parade any better, since the floats are lighted? i looked at some pics on wdwinfo and it seemed to be a pretty good view.

If I'm not mistaken...Spectro doesn't run on MNSSHP dates. Not sure about other dates not during a hard ticket event though. :)

You will see the tops of the floats. There will be people lined up along Main Street somewhat obstructing the view. You won't see any of the characters walking.

You can "see" the parade from the party, but much of what makes the parade great will be lost. To me the best elements are the street preformers, the drunken pirates, the night watchman and dog, the haunted mansion dancers, and the grave diggers. You won't be able to see that from the party.

We could not see the fireworks from our seats we had to stand at the railing, even there the view was not as good as watching from Main Street.

I wouldn't waste valuable Halloween party time at the fireworks party.

We did enjoy the fireworks party and would prob do it again, it was fun and we enjoyed the desserts. If you are going to the party strictly for viewing of fireworks, then I would skip it completely.

After Wishes, is there enought time to get in position to watch the parade?

Yes.

Plenty of time.

Fireworks will be over by about 9:45 PM.

Second Boo To You Parade starts at 10:30 PM.
