I might post this elsewhere also but does anyone know what the chances are of obtaining an ADR for this when someone cancels? Has anyone had any luck? My friend is going in June but booked her trip recently and has been trying for days to get it....is it a lost cause?

Thanks in advance for your opinions!:)

I spoke with dining reservations today, also looking for a date in June. Was told cancellations are rare. We need June too! So I'm calling everyday.... Hoping to get lucky! But I don't think it is gonna happen.

When they first started the dessert party they did have walk ups. I don't know if this is still the case or not.

I think you had to go to the party area and check with the CM a couple of hours before the party.

I had an ADR so I didn't pay too much attention to the details and this was about 2 yrs ago.

Thanks for the info!!! I'm sure gonna try to walk up!!

Try calling like 10 days out. That is the last time they can get their money back to cancel. It might not be 10 days though. Does anyone know?

Yes it's either 24 or 48 at the most. I think it is 24 but just to be safe in case someone plans on doing a cancellation before it is confirmed by another, let's just go with 24-48!

Just got off with a great Disney rep! He told me that while there are no reservations open, they do take walk ups. So go and inquire once you get into the parks. He also said that the cancellation policy is 1 day. So checking the day before may get you in as well.

My son is turning 4 at WDW! Hoping to get in for his birthday!:cool1::banana:

I just picked up a June 10th for the 9 PM show; it wasn't there at 5 PM. Our last night at Disney will be magical.

Don't give up!
