So I'm finding out there are locations for very small dessert parties in Epcot... we have 4 adults and 4 children. Now I'm wondering if there are options for a Wishes Dessert Party? Anyone know of choices and what the associated costs are?

The Wishes Dessert Party is held at the Grand Floridan I don't know the minnimum but I think it was kinda high and to pipe in the music is $500 or $800 (i've seen both numbers recently so I don't know which is correct) so that might be costly for a small party, but you can rent the Grand 1 or a pontoon boat and have snacks on those.

Information on the boats:

MAGIC KINGDOM WISHES PREMIUM CRUISE

-Guests may order Private Dining to be delivered to the cruise

VIP Cruise on Grand I Yacht
– a 45-foot Sea Ray yacht staffed by a captain and deckhand, 17/18 guests maximum, available at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, $480/60 minutes, $720 for 90 minutes, $960/2 hours . Must call (407)-824-2682 to book.

Renting a boat would be a great idea for a small party!

The smallest DP location at the Grand is Sago Cay Point, and for parties it has a $500 food and beverage minimum. (Compare this to renting the Grand 1 for an hour, which costs $480 plus the cost of food).

However, as with our small anniversary party at Epcot, you can do a small event there that *may* be cheaper if you go through the Grand Floridian's Private Dining. It will still be several hundred dollars, though.

Check out FigmentFan's report of her anniversary at the GF. They were supposed to be outside (I think on a balcony with views of Wishes) but got moved inside due to the cold.

In the past many people have had similar dinners/Wishes viewings for 2 or 4 at Sago Cay Point, but recently Private Dining has been telling people that's no longer an option. However, if you go through Catering and Convention Services (407-828-3200) at your resort (as we did for our Epcot party) they should be able to set something up in other places at the Grand Floridian besides what Private Dining offers.
