I love the look of the "A Sweet Ending to Your Celebration... Dessert Sampler" - being greedy I know :blush::blush: but do any of the restaurants allow one person to have this for their dessert?

I only ask as someone said at mama melrose on the fantasmic package you can have any starter (even if says for two).

Thanks :goodvibes

The Sampler we had at Grand Floridian Cafe was to share, couldn't have one each (couldn't eat one each) I would think they are all the same.

I thought that :sad2: Oh well hopefully someone will be too full up to eat dessert so I can have theirs :lmao: I probably could not eat it all for myself but I would love to give it a go - can you tell I have a very sweet tooth :rotfl:

It depends on the restuarant - if something on the menu is for 2 persons then you would need to share.

Some restaurants so small samplers as their standard dessert for one person (I know they do this at the Wave not sure of anywhere else)

Having eaten at Mama Melrose several times I don't think you can have the appitzer for 2 unless you are sharing with someone.

That sounds perfect, the small sampler for one person - just what I would love.

I am positive that someone has put (possibly on another part of DIS) that you can have a starter with the fantasmic package and also have one that says for two .... whether they then reduce it to the size of one or not I do not know :goodvibes

I asked over on the other part of DIS and this was the reply in case it helps anyone

"Yes, if you book the F! dinner package at Mama Melrose, you can choose any appetizer on the menu, even if it is listed for two. You will get an appetizer for the package on the DDP or paying out of pocket.

We ordered the calamari, which was for two. It was huge. The server said it was the regular size - all four of us enjoyed plenty of it"

Oh goodness me, I need to change me ADR's to go the Floridian cafe everyday, those desserts look yummy!!

I know I have told DH that he will be too full up to have a dessert when we go there, and out of the goodness of my heart I will take his unused dessert so can have a dessert sampler all to myself :cake::cake::cake:

You get a tray of desserts each at The Wave. Think it's 4. At Mama Melrose last year my friend wanted a starter for 2, but my son wasn't bothered for one, so it was counted as his. We didn't ask if we could have another one, though. At Raglan Road, the starters for 2 have to be for two.
