Dessert Box Seating at Fantasmic

If you are going to be there in six weeks F! will not be running. It will be down from march 29th through early june I believe.

It is worth the money not to wait...but sadly it wont be running during either of our spring/summer trips!

OK - then we'll call this $240 and an hour and 1/2 saved! :thumbsup2

because I can't find any of this information about what is going to be up and running and what's going to be closed during the time we're there.

I went to the Disney site and they don't list anything as being closed or in rehab in early June. Then I come here and read that Fantasmic! is closed until June 16th.

We got to see it last year at WDW, so this one thing isn't going to be a tragedy, but it makes me wonder what else will be down at that time.

Can someone here point me to a rehab schedule that's actually acurate?

I'm getting very peeved about trying to plan a trip based on hearsay! I haven't checked the WDW pages, but last year at this time I know they had schedules posted. Either of all the Disney folks need to get their ducks in a row or the people who are designing DLR's web pages need to take a hint from the folks doing the ones for WDW!

lntsmom, if you go to Disneyland's entertainment schedule on the web site, you will see that the schedule is not up. Disneyland's schedule never seems to be up until a month or so before. It has been a frustration discussed a few times, but it is how it is I suppose.

Fantasmic! is running right now on the weekends only. It will be going down at the end of March until June for refurbishment.

OK... here's another question.

What happens if you pay for the priority seating dessert box thing and the show gets canceled because of weather? :confused3

According to the info the CM I booked with gave me last November the tickets will be refunded if the show is cancelled due to weather.

So, officially, you are paying for the reserved seat and you are receiving a "complimentary dessert box and beverages." If the show is canceled for any reason, you get to reschedule (or I believe a refund if it is your last night in town) and you get to keep your dessert box if you already have it! Yum!

I am not 1000% sure about the refund (maybe an in-park gift card?), but I am about the reschedule and complimentary goodies part. Pair that with the PP's answer and I am fairly certain, though about the refund.

Once you check in and are seated, what happens if you have to get up?

I am planning on scheduling this on one of the nights when my husband will not be with us. We will certainly try to take care of restroom needs before we are seated but what if we need to get up? Can we get back to our seats?

How long is the show?

It is no problem to get up if you need to and come back to your seats. The show is about 20 minutes long.

If it is cancelled because of weather or mechanical issues, they refund the price back to your credit card - very easy transaction done at City Hall. When it happened to us, it took maybe 5-6 minutes to take care of it. Or if it works for you, you can also reschedule.

From what I have read, officially F! was on the refurb list until May 27th, unless something has changed. :confused3

If the reservations are made at guest services does that mean they can only be made the day of the showing?

Hi! I was just wondering, what is the earliest you have stood in line? I know they say come at 7:00, but when we went, we were there I think at 6 and we were the 3rd person in line. I would love to get this seating again. What is a good time to come in line? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

When we did it last September, we got in the line at 6:00. We weren't planning on being there that early, but we were so tired that we welcomed sitting down in line. There were two people (2 different groups) ahead of us. If you really want first row, you probably shouldn't get there any later than that to be safe.

When we showed up at 1700 there was 1 person in line, this was mid August time and Murphy was still on the fritz.

I bet someday knows this? I'm surprised nobody answered so I'm bumping it up again.

I did not understand your question. Since the thread is about Fantasmic reservations those are made 30 days in advance and not on the day of the showing. :confused3

You can check when you are there and see if there are any openings, if so, you can make reservations.
