Dessert at Tutto and Mama Melrose

Can someone recommend dessert at Tutto Italia and Mama Melrose???

Which one is the best?????

One more question: We are vegetarians - i have F! dinner pkg at Mama Melrose (at lunch time) - I only see oen veggie option- which is flat bread. Any other options??? You think we can talk to Chef and they can make us some pasta with veggies and cream based sauce????

My son and I had the Chicken Pippette w/basil-cream sauce @ Mama Melrose's and he had it without artichokes and chicken on the side-so I'm sure they could make it without chicken. It was very good btw!!!

And there was 7 of us and we tried all the desserts:
Tiramisu-good
choc cannoli cake-didn't like
Gelatos-good
Choc amaretto cheesecake-very very good!!!

Haven't been to Tutto Italia-I'm still upset they close Alfredo's-so I've banned it from my dining choices!!!

Mama's has an excellent vegetarian Goat cheese stuffed Ravioli with Onion relish!!- for mama's I highly reccommend the Amaretto Cheesecake!

The canoli at Tutto was one of the best things I've ever eaten... it's spoiled my love for canoli because I can't find one as good here at home!!

We loved the cannoli at Tutto as well....DH also really enjoyed the trio with three small tastings of their most popular selections...We love Tutto!

Cannot remember what we had at MM...We have been twice and did not like it either time...I have no memories of the dessert just disliking the meal...Hope you have a better experience.

I know it is kiddie, but we LOVE the Spaghetti & Meatball cupcake at mama melrose.

Last Decemeber, we were at Tutto Italia, for lunch, and had a great meal. To top it off, I had the lemon sorbetti, which was delicious, my fiancee' had the mocha tiramasu. She had lived in Italy for a while when she was in school and she said that living there had ruined things like gelato and tiramasu for her. She says that they are just way too good over there, as opposed to here.

That being said, SHE LOVED THE TIRAMASU!!! To the point where she raved about it for hours. Even when we were at Le Cellier, for dinner, she was still talking about the tiramsu.
