What desserts are offered at Nine Dragons for lunch?

We just ate at Nine Dragons for lunch in December and all they offered us was ice cream. I'm not sure if it was because we were on the dining plan or not.

We got chocolate ice cream, but it was not good. Although, the rest of the meal was great.

Thanks. We plan on going there in June. I do not think I would be able to get my DD11 to eat the red bean ice cream. But, if they offer chocolate, she will be happy.

Hi!
We just got back from China on an adoption trip, and we realized pretty quickly that the Chinese are not big on desserts. Maybe the World Showcase China is just reflecting the real China. Actually, there were some desserts, but they were quite different from what we Americans are used to...much less sweet, or I should say, sweet but with very different flavors.

We stumbled on something called Pocky, which are pretzel-like sticks dipped in chocolate. That took care of our chocolate cravings while we were there! I wonder if they sell Pocky at WDW?

They sell a few different flavours in the Japan pavilion along with some other interesting goodies!

For those that never had it, the red-bean ice cream is quite good

Nine Dragons is one of my 3 kids' favorite restaurants at EPCOT. (They love ANY Chinese food, though!)

The red bean icecream, believe it or not, is super yummy. That is one major reason my kids like to go to Nine Dragons. They also sell it at the outdoor/counter service place in the China pavillion.

They also have ginger icecream, which we haven't tried. Didn't even know they had chocolate!

My very picky DD tried the red bean ice cream because it came with her meal - amazingly she loved it. We all tasted it - it is very good!!
