Dessert after breakfast - Kona

Short story - I am wondering if it is possible to order a dessert at a late breakfast at Kona? I am on DDP but will pay out of pocket of course, if they will make it.

(Long story - DS was on kids plan on our last visit and was sad to not get option of the Kona Kone. I told him next time. However we have a late breakfast reservation at Kona ...do you think that they would make it for him?)

We don't normally do ice cream for breakfast - it is vacation!

I can't imagine why not. Ask when you are seated and that way if they need a little extra time they'll have it.

Then again, the service at Kona was so poor the last time we were there (special ordered cake that the server was totally unconcerned about... we ended up having to get the manager, and that's just one of the issues) I'd be afraid that if it took a special effort it wouldn't happen.

Perhaps the best thing to do when you are seated is to ask to speak with the floor manager (instead of going through the server).

Well, I think that I will mention it as soon as we sit down...I hope we can get it. It sounds like you didn't have a good experience there...I hope our visit turns out better. Thanks for the input!

They actually gave my daughter and I a dessert after breakfast when were celebrating our trip last year so yes, sure!
