Despicable Me

Does this ride already have Express? We will be staying onsite so I want to be sure to hit WWOHP early to ride FJ. I'm hoping I don't need to wait in line for Despicable Me.....

Yes, it does have an express line. It is not currently always fast though. For example, most rides at Uni for express they seem to run ALL express guests and then allow standby. When we were at Uni a week or so ago, they were allow half express guests and half standby into the staging room at a time (so roughly 20-30 per group?) As a result, the standby line was listing between 60-90 minutes, but there was a line for express as well, probably a 15 minute or so wait time for express.

If you don't mind single rider, you don't have to hit FJ early. I think its far better to hit Dragon Challenge first and get a few rides in front row.

Lines for Despicable Me were 70 - 90 minutes at various times of the day yesterday.

We went in the Express line about 5 or 6 times over the day and never waited longer than 5 minutes, even in the peak time. It is such a cute ride, hope you enjoy it.

We`ve only done FJ a couple of times this trip. Always later in the evening as it was just too busy during the day, even single rider queue today was ridiculously long.

Duelling Dragons is always much quieter though......we`ve had front row nearly every time we have gone on. Just have to climb over the tour groups who are sprawled all over the place!!!!

Frm what I hear you might encounter a line about 20-30 minutes.

We've done Dueling Dragons/Dragon Challenge too many times to count. No biggie to us and we always stay onsite so we don't worry about the rides that have expess. FJ on the other hand is tough so we like to get there early and get a couple of rides in before the lines get too long for us.

Thanks so much for reassuring me on this. Can't wait to get back. We haven't been since January which is a long time for us.

since you are staying onsite, do the early entry (if it is still in effect the date you go) for despicable me.

less of a wait then.

the express line will be of benefit during the day to insure a shorter wait, in case you go during the day.
