Despicable Me characters

Is there still set meets with the characters or is the best bet the character breakfast?

I'm not 100% sure but when we exited the Despicable Me ride (into the gift shop, of course) there was a dance party going on which included a meet and greet with three minions. However, the second time we went there we didn't see them so I'm not sure if it is random or scheduled but you can definitely still see them 'for free' in the park.

You can also access this through the gift shop if you don't want to queue for the ride!!

When you exit the ride there's a minion greet and a couple of dancers.

For the characters you can meet them usually after the daily parade........we see them when they stop just outside Mel's diner and Horror Make up Show........lots of good photo opportunities there.

The only day we can do the character breakfast is the day we check out of Disney hotel and into RPR. It would be so rushed. Our 2nd day we want to do the HP early entry. So I'm very torn on doing the character breakfast.

The best bet is to catch the street party near mels diner. most all of the characters are there.
