Despicable Me and parade

My kids are marching through Univ with their band. They march at 10 am. If we get there at park opening, can we do DM and be done in time to see the parade??? And where does the parade start and end?

I don't have the park map handy to see the route but you should have no problems seeing the parade after doing Dispicable Me. Parade times vary depending on the park hours so you'll need to check your map to see when it's scheduled. Some days the parade is at 2pm and other days its at 5pm.

When are they visiting? I might want to go over and see the band. I enjoy watching marching bands.

You should have time, you probably will want to get in the park entrance line 15-30 minutes before the official opening time. The parade will come right by the D-Me ride, so you will be able to watch it from there. If they start at 10, it will take "several" minutes for them to get to you, perhaps as many as 20 or so minutes, depending on where they are in the parade.

Ah well...I'll have to miss them...working that day and no longer with an AP to WDW. I'm sure they will do a great job!

I'd also recommend checking out the DM characters - they are great. DM makes only two appearances during the day for M&Gs; typically the first is 10:45. Depending on when your kids are done, you may be able to catch DM afterwards.

I can't remember what time the second set is at (I've always gone to the first).

They are scheduled to march on Tuesd March 26th at 10 am. They are also marching at the MK on the 25th at night.

Just to be clear, you know that they are not marching in the parade right? The superstar parade will be at 5pm that night and they never let bands or groups march with it because all the music is synced and timed to the floats so there is no way to let groups in between them. They will march the parade route or a shortened version of it at 10am just their own group with some team members escorting them to clear the guests off the street. Also, most likely the park soundtrack will not be turned off. I don't mean to be a downer I just don't want you to be disappointed when you get there. It's still a lot of fun from what I've seen of the kids faces as the march by...
