Desperately seeking Nov trip advice!

Hey DIS'ers! So, I am dying for a day of Disneyland Christmastime magic, and my friend and I are trying to plan a day trip. We live in LA, but due to my work travel schedule, the only days we can go are between November 21-29. I know that's the busiest time of the month since it's around Thanksgiving, so we really want to choose the day in that window that's the least likely to be packed. Do any of you Disney experts have some advice for me? Thank you soo much in advance!!

Tuesday, Nov. 24th! When we went two years ago on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, the crowds were almost non-existent. We got there early and figured we'd leave as soon as the crowds started or the kids pooped out (we had just been for a 5 day trip the month before and had upgraded to APs). As it turned out, the crowds never materialized and the kids didn't poop out until fireworks (during which they both feel asleep ).

We have found that the week after Thanksgiving (weekdays) are pretty empty, as well. So much so, that my husband refuses to go at any other time of year which means I never get to see the original HM. Boo.

Thanks!! I saw that APs are blocked out the whole week of Thanksgiving, so I assumed that M/T/W would be crazy too. But I'm glad to hear you had such a good experience the Tues -- hopefully we'll have the same luck if we go that day!

FlameGirl, I wish I could go the week after Thanksgiving, but I'll be out of town then. I'm thinking I'll plan for Tuesday, 11/24, but does anyone else have any thoughts? Thanks so much!!
