Desiree's Journal - (Posts welcome)

Thanks everyone. Yesterday I did kinda bad, but I made up for it at the gym.

B- 2 pks of Oatmeal
L-Sonic burger & a handful of tater tots
D-Raising Canes 3 chicken fingers & toast

Walked 22 minutes at the track at the gym and ran 8. Then did strength training. Left the gym and picked Devyn up from her camping trip then we went to my mom's to watch the Women's basketball game last night. While there, I got on her treadmill for 20 minutes too.

Well that's it in a nutshell. Don't think I'll be able to get to journals today since it may be busy at work. If I don't, y'all have a great day!

I just wanted to say how awesome I think it is that you have started running for 8 minutes! That's really great :) . Hmm, maybe I'll try running a little myself today.

We were also watching basketball the past couple of days for dh. I fell asleep during the Sat. night game but apparently our home town teams are both going to the final games. DH is excited ::yes:: .

Yes I was rather depressed all day long yesterday. The game was quite a heartbreaker. Although, TN and us (LSU) both played rather sloppy. Ah, watch out next year.

The rundown for yesterday:

B-Nutrigrain
L-Sausage link (poboy sized), peach fruit cup & yogurt
S-Hard Boiled Egg
D-1 can tuna fish w/ Mac & Cheese & green beans

Didn't make it to the gym. I had a very bad sinus headache last night. Devyn's game is early tonight so I think we'll be able to go.

I discovered fitday.com today. Is that thing accurate? I put the pork sausage link in there and it said 540 calories!!!!!! On the package that the sausage came in it only says.... Oh wait nevermind! I just actually looked at it and it said 150 per serving and there are 8 servings in the package. It's 3 links about 7" each. :mad: Geez, I used to eat the whole thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my god I feel bad now for not looking first! Ok nevermind, maybe fitday.com really knows that it's talking about. :o

How ya doin'?? Sorry about the game. I'm a Penn State fan, and all I've had for the past two years is frustration. :rolleyes: :(

Looks like you're doing pretty good otherwise, though.

About your sausage.........when you say you would eat the whole thing or do you mean one whole link. One link would be 400 cal. right?? I'm not sure what you are counting for your serving size. I wouldn't worry about it much, you are exercising a lot. That should take care of some calories! :teeth:

that really stinks about that sausage...i guess you just gotta read the label more carefully. although, you'd think, 3 sausages, probably 3 servings, silly packagers :rolleyes:

Have fun on your busy day. I have one concern. Are you eating enough? Have you run your menu's through Fitday. I would hate for you to be stalling your weightloss. Just a thought.

Alright, I'm a bit late for the party but you knew I'd show up eventually, right?? :teeth:

Way to go on your beautiful clippie - it's looking lovely on you! All that hard work at the gym is paying off!!

Your menus look pretty good but I still worry you're not eating enough calories in a day. If you plug your food into Fitday and you're under 1200 calories, promise me you'll try to eat more, OK? You can eat a piece of fruit or a salad or extra veggies but try to get 1200 calories a day. Isn't it a pain having me around when I get stuck in Mom-mode??? :crazy:

Ok I promise!! What is a correct average #of calories? Does anyone know?
 
Ok well the weight may not be falling off as fast as I'd like but let me tell you, I am losing inches!! I put on a pair of jeans today that I had just bought right before I started exercising and eating right. I had to do the wiggle dance and lay on the bed before to get them up! (Ladies, you know what I'm talking about). I put them on today and they went on with ease! They fit perfectly now! Of course, they are a size 16 but that's a definate improvement!!

I really need to get some measuring tape to keep track of this.

Yesterday's diet wasn't too good.

L- Leftover meatloaf & corn
D-Uggh.. Sonic burger and a handful of tots. Neither Chris or I wanted to get in the kitchen to cook yesterday.

I did get my exercise in. Didn't run yesterday. But I did walk for 30 min. and did strength training. Not sure if we'll be able to go to the gym tonight since Dev has a game and they'll be closed tomorrow for Good Friday. But even if they're closed tomorrow, we'll still go walk somewhere.

Oh well, off to start my day. Y'all have a good one. I promise I'll get to journals this weekend!
