Hey

Anyone Know where can get discounted designger sunglasses?
Thinking along the Lines of Channel and Dior, And do you know how much they normally go for in the states In stores such as Bloomingdale, You know the normal stores that are around?

Everywhere sells sunglasses, I guess it depends on how discounted you want them.

I've bought a couple of pairs of Oakleys over there and they were a lot cheaper. As with some things it is still a lot cheaper to buy in the States. As far as discount places are concerned somewhere like Premium Outlet Mall may be as good as anywhere else, seem to recall that there are a couple of sunglasses shops.

One thing I would say, is make sure that you know what yu want and how much they normally sell for.

I find that European designers are no cheaper in the US than here. I have bought Chanel, Gucci and Versace glasses over the years and bought them all in the UK in Duty Free as this was cheaper than the US. American designers are much cheaper in the US.

I have never found my fave sunglasses discounted in the US. TBH I now buy online at well below Duty Free prices...

I agree that there are better places to buy them, particularly for the french and italian designers.

I buy Boots sunglasses :)

Two pairs for £20 - can't go wrong. The way I treat and loose sunglasses having expensive ones would be a waste of money - especially after I've sat on them a few times, covered them in sunblock, dropped them on rides, dropped them in the swimming pool :rolleyes1

When we were there in August I gave DS chance to buy any sunglasses he wanted upto $200. He had exactly same atitude as you Tim, bought some at Walmart at $14.95. At 13 year old he has more money sense than me:lmao:

I bought a lovely Prada pair in a shop in Universal they were about $30 cheaper than anywhere else I'd seen them plus I then got 10% off with an AP discount :thumbsup2 I think they also had other designer brands :thumbsup2

Edited to add I just found them cheaper Here

As a general rule for shopping it would rarely be cheaper for European brands to be cheaper in Florida, same as it would be cheaper to buy Polo Ralph Lauren in the US than it would in the UK.

Oakley's are quality - and easily the best option for buying sunglasses over there as you can save quite a bit of money.
