I'm glad they didn't. Because they seem to be taking the easy road with good and evil in this show. I want them to really shake things up and shock me. So far, that's not been the case.

The problem with good and evil is that usually the people who are branded as evil don't believe that they are. How does the saying go - "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter."

There have been non-American actors who have played POTUS. Peter Sellers in Dr Strangelove of course. Anthony Hopkins as Nixon. Daniel Day Lewis as Lincoln. I guess it's just acting.

But Kiefer Sutherland was born in London, England to two Canadian parents. I think of it more like the actor playing the part and not a previous role.

However, I do remember talking about 24 with some friends, and we were joking that if Pedro Cerrano was now President, then Jobu must be Vice President.

I was thinking that as well but if she's not, the show is doing a really poor job of developing her character.

That was Nestor Lozano. He was supposed to be dead from the raid ordered by Acting Predident MacLeish.

Thank you so much! Do you remember in the first and second episode that there was a guy that Agent Wells seemed to be involved with that she thought died in the bombing? Was it ever confirmed if she identified his body? I wonder if he could be involved at all.

Enjoyed the last couple episodes. Wonder if next week's season finale will leave us with a cliffhanger or resolve everything. An hour wouldn't seem long enough.

It's still an odd show though. On one hand you have agents risking their lives and on the other a Presdient worried about middle school band funding. Nothing that happens in the WH seems important by comparison or really has any connection to the conspiracy.

Didn't Jason start transmitting something before he was shot?

I don't think Hanna ever confirmed his death. But I think it would make the world too small if he was behind it.

I'm still watching. I agree the last couple of episodes were better, but only because the've stepped up the Maggie Q part of the storyline. There's still something missing. Never thought I would find Jack Bauer so boring.

I think I love and hate this show at the same time. I'm so excited when a new episode hits the DVR, but then I get so mad at the way they keep giving us something and then taking it away! (If you watched the latest one, you'll know exactly what I mean - on more than one count.)

I do like the characters, though. I hope we get some closure next week!

I like the characters but we need a little more conflict. Emily, for example, seems too happy for chief-of-staff. You'd think her job would have her frazzled. Can't they at least give her a caffeine addiction!

As for taking things away - yes, they bring in the computer guy, and he finds something big - and then - whoops, there goes the rug!

I like Rob Morrow's journalist character.
