Design a new attraction...

I just finished watching Tangled again...for the dozenth time:rolleyes:. Everytime I see it I dream about how awesome it would be to see the lanterns!. I would love a boat ride through the beginning of the story, then enter a huge room with lanterns all around you and then end the ride with the rest of the story! I would pay full price just to see that one ride!

Oh, and I'd put it in MK somewhere in Fantasyland

Ooooooh! This. :cloud9:

Onmimover-style fast loading Alladin dark ride, where everyone gets their own carpet, with 3D elements a la the Spiderman ride like IoA. Put it in HS, they need another all-ages ride. Or in Adventureland.

Gut the entire Stitch building except the restaurant and put a Wall-E attraction in there. With a new ride platform. Maybe something involving all the "misfit" robots that helped Wall-E out.

Redo the speedway with electric cars that go a little faster, and theme it HEAVILY to Cars.

I would love the Ride and Go Seek Monsters Inc. ride from Tokyo in HS. I don't think we need another height restricted ride in HS, so I am not as big a fan of the monsters coaster idea.

How about a National Treasure attraction that replaces the aging Indiana Jones attraction at Hollywood Studios? It could be a stunt related attraction, or possibly an iMax/SOARIN' type attraction where you go in to some of the more well known stunt scenes and feel a little gravity and motion?

I would add a whole Marvel section to HS - now that they own the licenses and with the blockbuster nature of the Marvel universe, I feel like there could be a number of different rides and attractions to really fill that park out. Include a nice Spiderman or Batman themed rollercoaster (fast, with a lot of tight banked turns and elevation changes). I know that Universal has the rights to some of the Marvel characters and that this exactly wouldn't work, but I know they don't have all of Marvel, and it is something with legs.

HS and AK need more rides.... specifically HS needs more family rides....

And since dd and I both especially love the dark rides...

Animal Kingdom:

Fox and the Hound dark ride. Nice simple story-telling ride. Camp Minnie Mickey.

Pocahontas river ride... half dark ride / half outdoors... sort of like Splash but without any big drops.

Flight simulator ride (like Soarin) but based on Disney's Earth documentary.

Hollywood Studios:

Aladdin dark ride, riding on a flying carpet... ala Peter Pan style. Not princess-y, though... keeping the focus on Aladdin more than Jasmine. Sail over Agrabah with Abu on your carpet while trying to swipe a loaf of bread...

Since I am a huge Lion King fan I would love to see a story ride through of The Lion King starting with Simba as a cub when Rafiki held him up, just can't wait to be king( fun twirling ride simulation) Next the stampede scene, it can be shown on digital screens along side of the vehicle ( your ride vehicle could rumble along with it.) Then moving through Hakuna Matata with Timone and Pumbaa,( by a water fall and get misted as you pass through some fog then Simba is full grown in the next scene) Can you feel the love tonight (beautiful jungle scene with Simba and Nala), Mufasa in the stars scene then the ending battle scene with Scar( not any scarier than in the movie) then end with the circle of life.If you've ever seen the Winnie the Pooh ride in Japan DL on youtube I would love to see it done in this style with the trackless ride vehicles fully immersed by amazing effects. I know they have the show but I would love to see something following the story line and featuring the music. It would be featured in AK of course:yay:

How about a Alice in Wonderland ride? I know we have the teacups, but hey why not?... You are riding along with Alice and you shrink and grow along with her and meet the Cheshire cat, the queen, Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Meet the flowers and Caterpillar in different scenes but have it be like a Mr. Toad's wild ride type ride. :wizard:

or a Mary Poppins ride would be neat!

I'd design rides based off older/classic Disney movies (Robin Hood, Fox and the Hound, Pinocchio, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, etc.)

Mary Poppins would be sweet.

There's an AiW dark ride at Disneyland, not sure how good is it but just sayin'

:yay:

I would like to see them build the dark castle from Sleeping Beauty and put a coaster inside. The coaster could be black and the ride could take you through the story of Sleeping Beauty. It could be designed to either be a thrill ride or tame (but fast). It could be placed in DHS.

I would love a Tron ride (maybe dark/coaster hybrid) either in Tomorrowland or at Hollywood Studios and a Fantasia dark ride in Fantasyland or EPCOT.

WOW! There are some seriously creative people on here! This just goes to prove that Disney people are the best...also, I really hope some of you get hired because I would LOVE these rides! I want to be the person at Disney who walks around and says..."I am the ideas person, I'll tell you what I want, and you make it happen:lmao:"

I like this idea! With kangaroos and wombats :goodvibes
Gee, you guys have great ideas! I can't hardly think of anything....

Maybe get rid of Stitch's Great Escape(because I guess Stitch deserves better, though I haven't ridden it myself.) and do a Lilo and Stitch- themed water ride portraying the scene where Stitch surfs for the first time.

I'd design a whole park! Being a history buff, it'd be along the lines of Disney's American Adventrue failed effort in Virgina.

The 1600's themed area main attaction would be a simulator of the Mayflower's maiden voyage to the New World. Of course, you would have to pay homage to America's original inhabitants as well.

The 1700's would have to go above and beyond MK's Liberty Square. Perhaps a recreation of Ft. Ticonderoga from New York State and an updated "1776" with live characters signing the declaration

The 1800's would be tough with the "Late Unpleastentness" and all. Probably would have a ride paying tribute to the old Mike Fink Keel boats cruising a great river during the American Expansion, or better yet, an exploration by
John Wesley Powell of the Grand Caynon.

For the 1900's, an area themed to the roaring '20's then a dark ride themed to the 50's and a lot of Nostalgia from the "Happy Days". Somewhere, I'd have to have a tribute to the "Greatest Generation" and their accomplishment.

Last of all for the 2000's....how about a roller coaster ride to mimic the stock market?

I always wanted an Aladdin themed roller coaster. Magic carpet flying through the Cave of Wonders. Would have been much better than the copy of Dumbo in my opinion :)

I think they have people like that and they make LOTSO money...they probably steal them from us.

1. an elaborate Cars makeover for the Tomorrowland Speedway
2. a 101 Dalmations Adventure in Fantasyland dark ride
3. a TRON 3D movie to replace Honey I Shrunk.. at EPCOT
4. a Brother Bear flume type ride in Canada at EPCOT
5. an UP adventure ride where Sounds Dangerous is currently
6. an Incredibles themed ride similar to MIB at UNI (without the shooting element) in Pixar Place
7. replace Beauty and the Beast show with a Hercules musical
8. a Jungle Book show for Camp Minnie Mickey
9. a Tarzan boat ride similar to the Jungle Cruise for AK
