Has anyone stayed here recently? How are the rooms and breakfast? How long was the walk to DL?

I've never stayed there but maybe a travel review site will have your answers.

We stayed there one night and liked it.

The hallways are a little weird, made me wonder what sort of hotel it used to be. But the rooms are nice and comfy.

The breakfast was decent; my fave was the "golden malted" make-your-own waffles (also a chocolate waffle mix). Takes a bit of time, so if you're one adult with a passel of kids it'll get tricky, but they were very nice.

I don't find it to be a terrible walk, but I'm perhaps a bit more OK with walks to Disneyland than others are. It's just at the corner of Katella and Harbor, so you can go out, turn left, turn left at Harbor and walk on up. There are likely other ways that people have of walking less, but those are things that interest me. :)

They have a really cute and really packed giftshop. If anyone in the family likes trinkets, budget for it. :)

We stayed there 4 nights this past May. It was ok...the room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was ok too but it was tough to find a table most mornings. There was also often a backup at the waffle station so I never got to try them. The walk was a little farther than I thought it would be but I was 5 months pregnant at the time so I might not be the best judge! Overall, I felt pretty "meh" about the place and probably wouldn't stay there for more than $95 a night which is what we paid.

One thing that was annoying was housekeeping was really loud when cleaning rooms. They would yell back and forth at each other in the hallway which woke our 2 year old up from her nap a couple of days. And one time, a maintenance man came in the room without knocking while we were napping and we hadn't even called maintenance.

We stayed there last year and much preferred our 2 stays at Desert Inn and Suites. The distance is about half to the gates. We usually eat breakfast in our rooms, so free breakfast is never a factor for us.

Stayed there in 2011 in summer. Rooms were nice as was hotel in general. Breakfast was good but very crowded. Walk was manageable but after just staying at Park Vue Inn, I would never want to be further away.

Thanks. Park vue inn is not an option as it's book. It was this or the Hilton Anaheim but the Hilton is further and doesn't serve breakfast

In the past I would have recommended the Ramada Plaza (across Harbor from DP), but apparently their breakfast has gone to the ghastly side.

The waffles at DP are, actually, worth the wait in line to make them. FYI. :)
