Desert Inn & Suites - Is Parking charged to everyone?

Hello!
When we stayed at D.I.& Suites in 2008 there was no parking charge.
Now the website shows a nightly parking fee of $8.00/night.
Does anyone know if they charge everyone this fee, whether they have a car or not? We fly in and take the airport shuttle to the hotel, so no car for us.

I am assuming no charge for parking if you don't use a parking stall - does anyone know the answer to this question? I'd like to know too

I made a ressie last week and was told they don't charge if you don't have a car.

I called because I couldn't get the fee taken off when I checked in online. They said they only add it at the desk.

I reminded them at check-in. No problems.
