OmG I didn't realize this is from 2006!!!! This is the second old one I've seen today!!

My worst date - thats easy!

The guy was great and I really liked him. It was our first date and we went out to dinner. I had an upset stomach very mild all day and attributed it to nerves. He picked me up, my stomach discomfort was growing. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated. We ordered. That was it! I started smelling the food all around me and got queasy. I REALLY didn't want to leave and have him think, ya right sure you aren't feeling well. I stuck it out a little too long though. As I was excusing myself to run to the ladies room I must have become pale and he noticed.

I didn't make it to the ladies room and he wore some of it too. Of course we left immediately and he brought me home. By that time I was really uncomfortable. I knew something was wrong and my sister took me to the ER. Appendicitis and they burst.

That guy visited me and brought me flowers and was just so sweet! The first date however - NOT SO GOOD!

I went on a date when I was 16 with a guy who was 18. We lived in different towns, so my parents dropped me off at his house on their way somewhere. We were going to see a movie. The movie theater was several miles from his house. We walked because he didn't have a driver's license (he neglected to tell me that). We ended up being late for the movie and it was sold out anyway, so we walked from the theater to the mall, where I called my parents on a payphone (remember those?) to tell them to pick me up there rather than at the movies.

Mine was also at a school dance. I went to college when I was 15 as part of a special program. There was an entire dorm of us (30) at an all girls' college of about 800. Needless to say, dating oppotunities are few and far between. To make up for it, we often attended dances at a local boys' only military high school.

I had a friend at that school and he asked me to go to the Valentine's dance as his date, so I agreed. He knew that I hadn't ever really dated a guy and had never kissed anybody. We get to the dance and he doesn't really want to dance. We go outside the front doors to talk and he asks me to kiss him, knowing it's my first kiss. I told him ok, and he proceeded to slobber all over me worse than my dog. I didn't even kiss him back because I was in shock! He then asked me to kiss him in front of everybody on the dance floor (completely not my style!) I found out the only reason he wanted me to go out with him was so he could prove to the other guys that he kissed a girl! I promptly walked off and went to find my friends. I learned to never date boys at a military high school (well, that high school.) They were all a bit weird.

Okay, I have 2…

The summer after high school I dated a guy was maybe 4 to 6 years older than I was. We would hang out and talk/flirt and he finally asked me out on a “date”. We were going to double with a couple of his neighbors (a married couple) and drive 45 minutes to another town to go to a party.

Well, I ended up driving (cannot remember why) and we went to a El Chico (Mexican food restaurant chain) for dinner. He complained the whole time about how much is cost. 1st bad sign….well, that fact that I had to drive was the 1st, but I was letting that one slide b/c on its own it was not too bad! He and his friend went to the bathroom together which I thought was very odd…and his attitude was just off somehow, but nothing I could pin point.

I assume he paid and then we were on our way! As we were driving, he asked me to pull over at a convenience store and he and his friend were going to go and buy some beer. Well on the way in, they went to the side of the building to pee! Nasty…

While he was out of the car, I asked the wifey what was up and she claimed ignorance. I dug around in his jacket pockets to see if he had any drugs and found some eye drops and cocaine. Of course, wifey fesses up, yes they are snorting coke and that is why they wanted me to drive!

He and the friend came back with the beer and I took the first u-turn available and headed for home. He was pissed that we were not going to the party and did not want his beer to get hot. I told him to keep it and he could stick in the fridge at home…instead, he pops it open and starts to drink. Uhm? I absolutely did not want to get pulled over with an open container in the car and pulled over. I asked him to get out of the car with his beer…he friend finally had to coax him out, I left him on the side of the road at a gas station while he chunked beer bottles at my car.

I then had to drive his friends home.

Fast forward a few months and I accepted a date from another guy in one of my classes in college. Again, he was a few years older than me, but seemed like a nice guy. We go out, he is completely different on our date than at school…

We go to a club and I get carded at the door. They won’t let me in b/c I am 18 and he is pissed b/c he assumed I had a fake ID. (I was a bit naive back then and did not know ppl under 21 were not allowed places!) Well, I am sure we went somewhere else, but who remembers! Lol Our date ended with him explaining to me that wives, girlfriends and prostitutes were basically the same. It was just their compensation level that differed. He had paid for dinner and a night out and I was expected to put out…umh? I do not think so~ I hoped out of his car while it was rolling up to the curb!

Worst date. I think I was about 17 ...went on a first date to the movies. As we are driving the back dashboard of the car he borrowed went on fire.

He was determined that we go to the movies so we went to his families home where he borrowed yet another car.

We did make it to the movies. I can't remember the movie but I remember the theatre was packed and we had to sit towards the front in the middle of the row. We get settled, I hear snoring!! I turn to my date and he was asleep.

Needless to say that was my first and last date with Mr. Rip Van Winkle
