I will give my answer after I've heard a few others. I need ideas. :) :cool1:

Money is no object!

Where would you stay? On-site, with a split stay at GCH and DLR. I'd experience the "signature suites" at DLH.

How long would you stay? 10 days or so, maybe 2 weeks when counting other park touring.

What parks would you visit? (including all SoCal's amusment parks) 8 or so days at DLR, maybe a trip over to SeaWorld, Legoland, Knotts, Universal.

How many days at each park? 8-ish days between DL and DCA

What site-seeing sites would be a MUST SEE? No idea, I'm not a big site-see-er... Maybe the Hollywood sign?

Who would you bring with you? SO, me, DD, step-DDs, grandbabies, step-son-in-laws, SO's sister's family. Maybe SO's parents.

What would you do? Just spend time having fun! I'd attempt to spend time with everyone individually-- spend some time with just SIL, with the step-DDs, let DD play with her step-sisters one-on-one... maybe a romantic dinner with SO... Maybe have a dinner with just the adults. I'd probably attempt at least 1-2 tours. SO has recently mentioned his admiration of the vision Walt had for his park, so I think he'd enjoy the Footsteps tour (even if he denies it).

What rides are a MUST RIDE? Everything! :) I think it would be great to take one Jungle Cruise of *just* our group.

Where would you eat? Everywhere! Seriously, I'd make a point to try to eat at every single table service place, character meal, and work down the menus from there.

I should mention here that SO's the only one in his family that isn't infected with the Disneybug.

Mine is coming up in 4 months:cool1: 12 days at the Grand Californian. No outside trips.Eating all meals out(except breakfast) and taking my time.I can't wait to see the Rivers of America and Fantasmic.I will do the dessert pkg for our first time and wing it for the rest of the time.See every show,do every attraction and send DD to school at Disneyland!

What fun!!!

Where would you stay? DLH signature suites- Big Thunder Mountain Suite; 1 week. GCH- Adjoining rooms premium theme park view, concierge; 1 week

How long would you stay? 2 weeks

What parks would you visit? (including all SoCal's amusment parks) Just DL and CA. I would love to have a long trip that would allow us to visit the parks at leisure. We are pretty good at this already, however 2 weeks would be luxurious in this regard!

How many days at each park? All 14 days at DLR.

What site-seeing sites would be a MUST SEE? We have done Universal and San Diego. Both times we kinda wished we just stuck to Disney. I would love to take the kids to the Chinese theater.

Who would you bring with you? Just us 4. I really and truly love my ENTIRE family, however really having the time to connect with the kids is priceless IMHO.

What would you do? Spend time having fun!!!!! 2 weeks would give us enough to both relax and play with the kids.

What rides are a MUST RIDE? BTMRR is a fav of our youngest. Our DD is getting to be more of a thrill seeker so Screaming would be her ride of choice!

Where would you eat? Everywhere in DLR! It would be lovely to have a sit down meal at least once a day in the parks. BB for sure! Steakhouse 55, Napa Rose, Carthay Circle, I would splurge on a Fantasmic Desert package!

Thank-you! That was fun to dream about an ultimate trip!

Sounds like an absolute DREAM Disney Vacation. It will be nice to be completely a part of that world for a while.

Thank-you! That was fun to dream about an ultimate trip!

You're welcome. It IS fun to think about. I absolutely LOVE the Big Mountain Suite. It would be hard to decide between that and the Fairy Tale Suite. Thanks for sharing. :thumbsup2

Here is my DREAM Disneyland vacation (and as Disney says, a Dream is a wish the heart makes). :goodvibes

Where would you stay? Split stay - Disneyland Hotel Fairytale Suite, just me and hubby for the first week, and then 2nd week in a Grand Villa at the Grand Californian with our two children, my parents, my brother and his two kids and then the third week in San Diego at The Hotel Del Coronado, or perhaps The Grand Del Mar

How long would you stay? Three weeks in total. 2 weeks in the Disney area and then one week in San Diego area. On another trip we will explore San Francisco, wine country and Yosemite with our RV ;)

What parks would you visit? (including all SoCal's amusment parks): We love roller coasters so the first week we would have to do everything in the area with roller coasters: DL and CA of course, Knottsberry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Universal Studios - am I missing anything amazing?

And then in San Diego we would have to do Legoland, San Diego Zoo & Safari and Sea World.

How many days at each park? I would want a full 7 day pass for DCA and DL so I can enjoy those two parks at our leisure over the two weeks. 1 day at each of the other parks, plus sightseeing!

What site-seeing sites would be a MUST SEE? We would need to see Santa Monica Pier, Rodeo Drive, Sunset Blvd, the Hollywood sign, the Chinese Theatre, and we would also need to be part of the filming of a game show - just for kicks! I'd also like to see the Ripley's Believe it or Not and Wax Museums the area is known for. Not to mention other major museums.

What would you do? We would see and do it all, all the shows, all the parades and fireworks. With all that extra time, I would likely book a tour within Disneyland. In San Diego, we would tour, shop and lay on the beach.

What rides are a MUST RIDE? For me it would be the Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and the Enchanted Tiki Room and the Finding Nemo submarine voyage at DL. Everything at Carsland in DCA. Everything at Universal Studios (we are big Movie buffs).

Where would you eat? We would have to try Blue Bayou and as others have mentioned a Character Breakfast for the kids at DLH, Steakhouse 55, Napa Rose and sounds like I will have to book a Fantasmic Dessert Package! Plus I would like the kids to experience a Medieval Times dinner show, for fun.

Whoa, so now that I know what my dream SoCal vacation would look like, I will just have to narrow it down to what I can afford.:upsidedow:p:rotfl:

Money is no object!

Where would you stay?

Grand Californian 2-bedroom villa

How long would you stay?

I have to go home? ;-)

What parks would you visit? (including all SoCal's amusment parks)

I would probably see Sea World and maybe the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, but to quote my teenaged daughter, "When I'm in Los Angeles, I don't want to see Knott's, I don't want to see Universal, I want to Disneyland and California Adventures and never, ever leave!"

How many days at each park?

See, "How long would you stay?"

What site-seeing sites would be a MUST SEE?

Catalina Island and some of the museums (assuming I could drag DD away from Disneyland and California Adventure)

Who would you bring with you?

My husband and daughter

What would you do?

everything I could, and if I could magically get well before the trip, EVERYTHING!!!!!

What rides are a MUST RIDE?

See "What would you do?"

Where would you eat?

Assuming I could not get well, I'd hit every buffet, Catal and the Rainforest Cafe.

Assuming I could get well, I would make it my goal in life to sample absolutely every dish at Disneyland (except the Monte Cristo sandwich--never liked that).
