Descendents 3 Release date

Does anyone know when descendents 3 will be in theaters? Thanks!

It won't be in theaters, but it will premiere on the Disney Channel as a Disney Channel Original Movie, like the first two movies in the series. A release date has not been set, but Disney has said that it will be released in mid-2019. If history holds true, it will be released in late July, like Descendants (released July 31st) and Descendants 2 (released July 21st).
