Des Moines people-central Iowa People?

Do you still have snow, if so, how much? We are trying to find a place to golf over spring break and there is a course in Des Moines that has a great deal but I don't know if they will be open yet. We may have to push further south but the 3 hour drive would be better then the 9 hour drive to St. Louis, our second choice.

I'm not in Des Moines, but I'm about 2 hours east of Des Moines. There's still quite a bit of snow in our yard, but we're supposed to get into the 40's this coming weekend with lots of rain, so they're anticipating that the snow will be gone after this weekend. The 10-day forecast says it's supposed to stay in the mid-40's, so hopefully that's pretty accurate.

Thanks. If there is still a lot of snow now, chances of the golf courses opening by the 22nd are pretty slim.
