Let me start out by saying I've lived in Michigan my entire life and have been a fan of the Pistons for years (second only to the Red Wings). It was great watching them win the title last night!
However, I do want to say that our local news channel interviewed Derek Fisher outside of the locker room (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly) and what a class act. Not only was he a very gracious loser but he paid the Pistons many compliments and was the first (that I'm aware) to actually state the obvious - the Pistons were a better team this year.
It was just refreshing to see him acting the way I try to teach my children - being a good sport. I'm still WOO HOOing the Pistons though!
