Deposit refundable?

First time looking at RCL. I was wondering if we book a cabin for next summer, there is a 500 dollar deposit fee. I can see the refund policy for the remaining amount, but just wondering what the refund policy was on the deposit - is it completely non-refundable? Would they switch it to a different cruise? Thanks.

You can book with a refundable deposit, usually it costs more to do so. Just go through the booking process to where you choose your dining time and there is a box to check for a refundable deposit.

If you book with non-refundable deposit and you want to cancel or change you will pay $100 (I'm not sure if it's per person or cabin, it should be in the terms) and the rest can be used towards a future cruise within a certain time frame.
