I booked a 4-day, August 2005 cruise with all seasons travel and I have decided to cancel and book a 7-day on another cruise line(that's another thread). Could anyone please tell me how long before your received your deposit money back? Since my DH and myself are paying for 14 I would like to use this money to rebook another cruise.

I cancelled a DCL ressie over 3 1/2 weeks ago & still haven't gotten credited for the deposit yet. I booked through DCL directly.

So if there's a delay getting your deposit back - it's probably Disney's fault.

We cancelled our cruise thru allseas and rebooked with AAA. I used my c.c. for the deposit and was credited by the next c.c. statement. They were prompt and friendly. Good luck!:sunny:

When I had to cancel with all seas..first the agent didn't actually cancel for a few days after my phone call, and the refund took over a month. I ended up just dealing with disney directly..and disney explained how the refunds work and why they take so long.

Call Disney - I cancelled a cruise during the time their reservations system was down and my refund was "misplaced in the computer"! We had booked 2 rooms so there were 2 separate deposits. We got 1 credit on Monday but not the other so I called again. Yup - "misplaced" again so they're going to expedite this one. We'll see how long that takes to process.

Actually this is very true. We cancelled a ressie with All seas (my sister decided not to sail with us  ) It took a few weeks to recieve our credit. All seas informed us that the ressie had been cancelled, but Disney is the one that is responsible for crediting back the funds, as they are the ones who are paid. All Seas is just the go between.
