Generally, it is 20%. They occasionally run an offer for a 10% deposit, or you can get a 10% deposit on 7 night or longer cruises if you are using an onboard booking.

When you cruise, you can book your next cruise while onboard and get a discount. You can either book an actual cruise if you know when you want to sail again, and those itineraries are released already; or you can book what is called a placeholder, which gives you the onboard booking benefits without having a specific cruise picked out. Once you pick out which cruise you want to go on next, you call and have your placeholder moved to that cruise. The onboard booking gives you 10% off the future cruise, and as I mentioned, a reduced deposit if the cruise you book is 7 nights or longer.
