If I am booking a package through AAA I will get a discoutned rate for the room but the tickets will be full price correct? How much of a deposit is required when booking through AAA?

Thanks for the fast response! Do you happen to know what their cancellation policy is? I'm trying to decide if I should book through AAA or Disney. :)

If you want to do the dining plan then you'll need to book the package through AAA.

However, if you do not want the dining, then you can book the AAA room only rate (same thing paying full price for the tickets anyway) and that deposit is only the price of one nights stay. You can modify/change up until 5 days prior to travel with no fees. And if you cancel you lose the deposit of the one nights stay.

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong! :Pinkbounc

It's the same as Disney's.

BTW, you can get the AAA discount for your room (only) if you book with Disney, but if you're wanting the DDP, you'll have to book a package through AAA. :)

We must've been posting at the same time!! :rotfl:

cancellations should be the same either through AAA or Disney, but the cancellations are different for a room only aaa through disney vs. a package.

I love the pics of your doggie... :Pinkbounc

So even if we are booking 4 rooms with packages we only pay a $200 deposit? Or is the deposit per room?

Hmmm... I think it's time for a more experienced AAAer to answer this one. My best (uneducated) guess would be that you would make four deposits of $200 each.

Funny though, because I just decided to split our stay between two resorts and I was getting back on DIS to do a search to see if I had to make two deposits too.

I like your photo too! I was just showing it to my DD16 the other day. I think Chloe would sink the float!

It would be a $200.00 deposit per room since they are all seperate bookings. It would be the same with Disney they would require the one nights deposit for each room. If you book through AAA then you get the story book experience, diamond card for discounts, & the prefered parking. :thumbsup2

Thanks! What is the diamond card? Storybook experience?

Diamond card gets you discounts at some of the shops and restaurants. The storybook experience is at town hall I believe where a character comes in and reads a story and then there is a photo and autograph time after that it last about 30 minutes.
