Department Stores in Orlando/central Florida

What are the best department stores (not factory clearance malls), taking account quality, variety, and value?

In particular, I am interested in the best stores for shoes, and children's clothing. We might also be interested in men's and ladies clothing.

How would you rate the department stores, in those malls -which ones would you go to - to get value and quality? In particular, I am interested in children's clothing, and shoes.

We go to the Florida Mall all the time when we go to Orlando and the stores here are just like any of the stores back here although you might find ones that are unique to Florida!

We had the pleasure of visiting the new Mall during our Thanksgiving stay and all I can say is WOW!!! I have never seen a place quite like this. The developers thought of everything. There are rest areas with couches and the ceilings are all glass and best of all no annoying kiosks

Of course all of the stores are upscale and most are unique to Central Florida but what a great place they thought of everything. We avoided the parking fiasco by using the malls valet parking it was only $5. My kids loved the food there, they have a Cheesecake Factory. Glen and I loved McCormick and Schmick
