what could i do in the morning was hoping to visit gatorland but think its going to be impossible as sanford is quite far away !

You could get to a park for opening and stay for a couple of hours :goodvibes

Shame, as Gatorland is a great 1/2 day trip when flying out of Orlando international.

My only advice is to make sure you plan to do something.

During one of our first trips nothing was ever really planned for our departing day and we ended up not really doing anything but clock watching. It was a disappointing ending to what had been a an action packed trip and the day seemed to drag....

Since then we have done Gatorland and Boggy Creek Airboats as one of our last day visits, this year we are checking our luggage in at DTD first thing in the morning and then making a quick visit to AK (kids favourite park).

What about doing a Character Breakfast in one of the parks, at least then your there bright and early to maximise whatever time you do have:)

We enjoy a really good breakfast on our last morning. Once you hit the airport it's hard to get anything decent to eat , so at least if you've had a good breakfast it sets you up for the rest of the day. Another favourite is to head for one of the water parks. We've done Typhoon Lagoon a couple of times - hire towels, laze about, do a few rides then shower and head on down to the airport nice and fresh and relaxed for the long journey ahead. Done MK as well, but that was one year when my Mum contracted cellulitis and she was pretty ill by the time we were heading down to the airport. We didn't know what was wrong and by the time we reached the airport she was pretty much lapsing in and out of consciousness. :scared1: We were blaming the mid July heat at MK although when we got home and she was admitted to Ninewells Hospital it became apparent it wasn't Mickey's fault! We got a wee fright and it kind of put us off doing the parks when we've got an afternoon flight.

Where do you hire boats from?

We usually do a park on last day. Have done mini golf before one of the Disney ones.
