Deodorant

If you don't put it on whenever you get out of the shower there was no point in the shower.

If you don't put it on whenever you get out of the shower there was no point in the shower.

The point of the shower is to get off the sweat from running/exercising earlier that evening and to relax before bed. No deodorant required for either of those.

I rarely shower at night cause I have to shower in the morning to function, but the rare times I do I put deodorant on. My kids shower at night and put deodorant on both at night and in the morning.

Deodorant should always be applied after showering/bathing...
Whether you shower in the morning, or evening....
Your sweat glands do not care if it's night or day.... ;)

Just common sense...

I put it on WHEN EVER I shower so yes I guess I am one of the crazies:rotfl:

I put it on whenever I shower. I can "feel it" if I don't and it bugs me. I doubt I would smell, but I'm bothered nonetheless.

Yes I put it on at night after showering and before going to bed. My pits just feel weird if theres no deodorant there, I think its the creamy feeling maybe, not sure but you know what I mean, LOL But i usually reapply in the morning if I remember.

That's so funny that you brought this up. My husband and I talked about this while watching "Paranormal Activity." There is a scene in there where the female lead puts on deoderant before going to bed. I've never seen anyone do this before.

My BFF and I were just discussing this a couple of nites ago...while watching "Paranormal Activity:rotfl2: I think we were more shocked by that than the actual bumps, moans and everything else! We both kep wondering who actually did that?!

Well, I don't shower at night. My hair would look like a rat's nest by morning.

BUT, I always put on deodorant after a shower-no matter what. So, I guess I side with your DBF on this one. IF I were to shower at night, deodorant would be the first thing on afterwards!

It would be rare for me to take a shower at night, but if I did, I would not apply deodorant at that time. I'd apply in the morning before getting dressed for the day.

This is my answer, too.

DH and I both shower at night and use deodorant after our shower and in the morning as we're getting dressed. DD does the same from watching us so maybe we're a whole family of crazies :rotfl2:

Even though I used unscented deoderant, I don't like the residue or the smell all of them seem to have and don't me started on the scented ones. I like the way I smell after a shower and the last thing I want is to smell like that deoderant. It's just so unnatural smelling.

Anyway, I am not much of a "sweater" and I don't notice that I have a body odor smell in the morning. In fact, I can actually not wear deoderant and still be pretty much okay with the exception that I do hate that clammy feeling I get when I don't use it (anti-persperant actually). But I guess some people exude a lot more than others...

I use deodorant after getting out of the shower at night. I don't want to inhale my smelly pits all night long.

I put on deodorant and cologne every morning and after washing post exercise. I do not put it on just before bed - gotta let my skin reset itself, if only for a little while!

Do you really stink that bad that easily?;)

I definitely pick up on a slight smell if I don't use deodorant after a shower. Try sniffing your pit. You'll see. If you sniff real close (I'm anal, that's why I do things such as this), you can detect it. It's not especially offensive, but I just don't feel clean if I don't have some artificially manufactured scent emanating from under my arms.

We do the same thing. I don't understand why anyone would not want to put deodorant on after bathing. That's odd to me.:rotfl2:

I always put on deodorant after a shower whether at night or morning.

Same here. And I normally do shower before bed, but that's a factor of not wanting to get up earlier than I already do to shower before work. I have to be at work at 3 a.m. Although allergists recommend those with allergies take a shower at night before bed to wash off all the pollen that has collected on you during the day. Otherwise you get it all over your pillow and bedding and make the allergy worse.
