Dental Woes....wisdom teeth

I hate going to the dentist and recently had 4 wisdom teeth pulled
2 were impacted and ruptured thru my gums, plus they had cracked one of my molars from pushing on it
I have spent alot of time at the dentist in the past month
its was awful
I have to go back in 2 weeks to have them look my holes over and check on a few other things

I hate to go back but know I have to, it actually didnt hurt as bad as I thought I would but it still stunk big time
I am shocked at the cost however we got most of it covered as surgery because the teeth were ruptured but it cost so much $$

I only have 1 cavity and I am hoping that I will NEVER have to have dental surgery again

one of the holes has been hurting me though ....could it be dry socket????

Sounds like a dry socket, I always seemed to get them. Give the office a call. They'll have you come back, take a peek, and if it is a dry socket, they'll pack it with a long strip of what looks like dental gauze that is soaked in oil of clove. It helps heal the gums and get it to close up.

I hope they prescribed you some Percocet for the pain. I've found that dry sockets hurt worse than the dental procedure itself!
