Dental office unreasonable?

I think if you are hacking and coughing they would be more than happy to let you wait in your car. I would just go to the receptionist, tissues in hand, and say something like, "I am very sick and I don't want to contaminate the waiting room. I'm going to wait in the car, here's my cell *cough cough*" I'm sure they'd wave you on!

Well, we're back and I don't know what the whole fuss was about. Apparently DH misinterpreted what they meant by me needing to stay there, and I could have waited in the car anyway.

I was alone in the waiting room, so I just curled up under my jacket and slouched in the chair -- it only took a 1/2 hour. When he came out, he was all chipper like a little boy going, "Wow! That wasn't so bad after all!"
