Great comeback.Apparently the Dem campaign committee and Obama do.![]()
Great comeback. If you don't like what Rush has to say, don't listen to him, if more and more people didn't listen to him, then the advertisers would go away and his show would be canceled like any other show that has no audience.
It's really pretty simple actually.
No way! (sarcasm font)What?!You mean let the market decide? No way! (sarcasm font)

Will this be the beginning of the "Fairness Doctrine"? Do they have nothing else today except rail against a private citizen whom they have taken out of context? Are they worried?

Democrats Launch Petition Against Rush Limbaugh

(CNSNews.com) The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched an online petition for readers to express their outrage at conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh for saying last week that he wanted President Barack Obama to fail.
The petition includes a 19-second sound byte of Limbaugh, saying, If I wanted Obama to succeed, Id be happy the Republicans have laid down. I dont want this to work. So Im thinking of replying to this guy, say okay, Ill send you a response, but I dont need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.
Meanwhile, Obama advised Republicans last Friday to stop listening to Limbaugh if they wanted to get along with Democrats and the administration.
My take as a conservative.
Rush is a pompus windbag. Rush hold no elective office. Rush is an entertainer, and being an entertainer, he says what he feels is required to keep his audience entertained, and therefore returning to listen to him. Because people return to listen to him, advertisers pay the stations that carry him money for their air time, thereby making Rush a very rich man.
If you don't like what Rush has to say, don't listen to him, if more and more people didn't listen to him, then the advertisers would go away and his show would be canceled like any other show that has no audience.

Just the liberals being the liberals, all for free speech as long as they agree with what a person is saying..
This petition is silly, just as it was silly when Bill O'Reilly used to go off about Dems wanting Bush to fail.
This liberal is a staunch capitalist. But even Alan Greenspan has learned that unchecked capitalism is not a good thing.Your first mistake is thinking liberals understand market forces. It's that pesky thing they hate, capitalism!
This liberal is a staunch capitalist. But even Alan Greenspan has learned that unchecked capitalism is not a good thing.
But we don't have unchecked capitalism, and haven't in Greenspan's lifetime, so how did he come to that conclustion exactly?
