Democratic debate

I probably won't vote for either of them (mostly due to fashion issues ;) ) but I won't be upset if either of them wins.

Tell you one thing, no matter who you thought won the debate, that went a whole lot of way toward helping the Democratic party come November...very well done!!

What a difference from last night's debate!!

I watched while writing a paper for class so I didn't pay complete attention. I was impressed with their behavior and I didn't miss John Edwards like I thought I would. I think that I would vote for Hillary after this debate.

After the way they snipped at each other last week I certainly didn't expect this solidarity wall they are trying to show against the Republicans. I'm expecting them to break out into song soon.

Old show tunes? Heavy metal? Tuvan throat singing perhaps? ;)

OT but guess what I just got. Nothing like short notice to meet the Secretary of Defense tomorrow at 10am. I hope I don't have to ice skate to post.

Tell him to send Matt home NOW!!!:rolleyes1 Seriously, that's pretty cool. If you slide past him on those skates be sure you do a double axle or something. :woohoo:

And don't kick him in the shins with your skates. ;)

Hope the weather breaks for you!

This was a fantastic debate. I think Hillary dominated.

I want a Hillary\Barrack ticket - and I want it now! LOL :yay:

I watched the first hour of the debate. It would seem Hillary won the debate, but the question is, "Did she do enough to stem the tide of the Obama groundswell?"

I think she needs him more than he needs her. If she got the nomination, she'd be wise to choose him, but I don't think it's necessary for him to select her. He helps her, but she could actually be a hindrance to him.

My DD10 and DS 6 are walking in circles around chanting "Hillary! Hillary!" :cheer2:

I don't talk much about politics and their dad is a Republican. I wonder were this came from. :confused3

(I must admit I'm pleased. ;) )

I think Hillary did great! She has always been a great debater and is a smart woman.
I will be voting for her on Tuesday.

I am hoping to see Clinton's name on the ballot in November :)

Im confused about Hillary, she was referring to being President as a "lonely job" implying that she'd be making the decisions herself...also implying that Bill also made the decisions himself...but what about the 35 years of experience?

I thought she was counting 8 years of being in the white house as experience, but she didn't make any decisions? :confused3

I believe she meant "lonely job" as in, regardless of all the advice you get from cabinet members, etc., it's your call and your neck on the line alone. She did a whole rundown on her 35 years of experience that I think I might have to look at the transcripts to get it all. It was pretty good.
