I've seen pictures people have posted in past years of the demitasse desserts and I think they are so cute. I want to look for these when we are at DLR in October. But, I'm wondering how much they cost. You get to keep the cup, right? Is it as big as a mug or smaller? What restaurants typically have them? Thanks!

I was at DL 2 or 3 years ago and got the cute little cup at the place right next to Boudin bakery...maybe it was Boudin bakery....we had the bread bowl soup etc...Anyway, it was a small little Donald cup that had a chocolate mousse type stuff in it. I think it was around $5 or $6 and yes, you keep the cup. I got 2 of them.

The desserts are super cute! The price I believe is somewhere around $7 range and yes you get to keep the cup, but it is on the smaller side. I have seen them at Rancho del Zocalo and Jolly Holiday Bakery

I agree that they are smaller than the standard mug, but the size varies by design. Last year's Halloween cup (Minnie Pumpkin) was $8.49 plus tax.

So far a demitasse hasn't been mentioned in any of the Halloween offerings. I read on another board that Disney said they were a series that ended last year.

Thanks for all the replies! I really appreciate it. I sure hope they do bring back the demitasse --- or something just as cute --- for this year! I saw some mugs on the Disney Store site that were kinda similar. I might actually prefer that if I can find it since we could use them around the house.

The other day I mentioned - HERE -- in the Halloween Time at DLR Superthread that Nancy Johnson of the DIS Unplugged Podcast indicated that she saw no sign of a demitasse dessert (she loves the demitasse dessert, so I knew she would be looking for it). That doesn't mean that it -- or something similar -- won't return at some point this season, but she didn't see it on opening weekend of Halloween Time.

Never fear -- there are plenty of other treats you can get if the demitasse does not return. See this list (also from the Superthread) -- HERE. Also, I have been updating this post with any new blogs or articles that come out about this season's Halloween Time treats -- HERE.
