I attended a wedding this past weekend and the DJ put on a song called "No Woman, No Cry"..... Now I know this song but was not sure 100% that it was Bob Marley. I was about to walk up and ask the DJ to make sure, when I noticed two men near the kitchen entrance singing and dancing --- loving every second of it.

So, I decided to ask them who it was. One of them looked at me, and as soon as he opened his mouth, I knew he was Jamiacan. He said, "of course, mon, dat be Bob Marley AND the Wailers. He made it sound important to include the Wailers.

Then the other one grabbed me and hugged me and we all started dancing and singing! It was hilarious! We actually took center stage on the dance floor. And, as it turns out --- actually, I knew this -- they were hotel employees. When it was over they surrounded me and clapped. Now, normally I don't like being the center of attention while dancing, but this was a riot!

We took our first trip to Negril, Jamaica this summer for our 15th wedding anniversary and LOVED it!! The people are so cool. And the sunsets were out of this world!!! Very fun loving people there!

Holy cow, I wish I had stayed wherever you were. My husband and I just spent our honeymoon at Sandals Negril and it was horrifying. Filthy room, horrible service, crummy food, and a beach that smelled like the toilet!! We're trying desperately to get some of our money back

Yikes that does sound bad - we did not go the all inclusive route - We stayed at The Rockhouse in the cliffs and explored and tried many really cool places to eat. We loved it!!! We stayed in one of the rock villas. The views were awesome! Here is a link to the Rockhouse hotel if anyone wants to check it out.

We loved the food but we did not stay all inclusive( I've heard many complaints about the all inclusive places) - we tried many great restaurants and roadside stands while we were in Negril. Great places to eat while there are : The Rockhouse, Xtabi, The 3 Dives, The Hungry Lion, Sips and Bites. Kuyaba. Also we tried this little stand across the street from the Rockhouse called Eunices - OMG it was the best jerk chicken ever!

I don't think so. And they would have gotten THEMSELVES in trouble. They took me there. I certainly would never have drug them up on the dance floor. Like I said, when I am dancing I like to generally be incognito. I'm a very bad dancer.
