We are booked for Newport Bay. The woman on the phone said we will have deluxe room (there are 5 of us, all over the age of 3). Is this different than a standard room? Are these rooms in a certain section of the hotel? My husband said it sounded like it was a big deal that we were in a deluxe room. She said that there was a reception in the evening.

Anyone know where I cna find any pictures of a deluxe room if in fact it is different than a standard?

Thanks :goodvibes

If there are 5 of you then you are definitely not in a standard room as the max here is 4 people plus 1 under 3 (infant).
Hopefully someone else can help with pictures. Let us know if you also find any :)

I've searched and searched the internet and there is nothing. I guess I'll have to wait until someone posts here. :hourglass

Hi,
I can't find any info on the net either, but I do know that the NPB has "family rooms" which have 2 double beds plus a sofa bed and that they sleep up to 6 people. I believe they're all situated on the Admiral's floor. We're staying there in March I'll see if I can find out anything more then. :thumbsup2

Yes, we are a family of 5 and looked into staying in these. They do sound nicer than ordinary rooms and are definitely in the Admirals section. I think I am right in saying you have a separate check-in desk plus room service plus lake views?

I do hope your right!! :cool1:

My husband was the one who booked and did not know what the Admirals section was. If the CM mentioned it he probably would not have caught what she said.

We really did not have much of an alternative if we wanted to stay on site. To get two rooms at NB it would have been $50 more. I really would rather have one room.

Glad it all worked out. Thanks to all of you here on the DLP board for all of your help! :goodvibes
