Deluxe Snow White Costume

It is not on sale on the Disney Shopping website. Does anyone know/think it might go on sale? It is priced at $149. Crazy to spend on a costume but with a sale and a discount, I'd love to be able to swing it!

Same here! DNiece3.5 is CRAZY about Snow White and wants a dress for Hallowen and our trip in May. Of course she could change her mind many times by May so I don't want to spend too much right now.

My guess is that is probably won't before Halloween because it is listed as a Limited-Edition item. All the other deluxe costumes are on sale that I can see but that one is not.

All you can do is keep checking, but don't hold your breath. Here's hoping it does go on sale though. I bought DD a Snow White dress at Babies R Us that is made by Disney baby and is an R Us exclusive. It is very well made for $25. Heavy fabric - not the normal flimsy stuff you get for most costumes. May have to go back and look at getting other ones in bigger sizes (goes up to 48 months) to put away for later.

last year they had sales before halloween on all their costumes, after halloween they were discounted even more, especially in the stores (they have this dress in the stores, it is really pretty and heavy) If you are getting it for a Disney trip I would wait, if for Halloween just keep checking their site. I saw that costume last week in the Disney Store....It is absolutely gorgeous and looked so well-made and authentic If my niece was even close to being a brunette, that costume would have been coming home with us. Good thing we had already bought her an Alice in Wonderland costume at Disney in March, or she may have been in the salon for a hair color change !!

OK...my DD (4) had to have the Belle Dress at MK for $75 bucks and she has not worn it since that trip last December! She loves to dress up still, but I would not spend that much on a dress up dress again. I would wait for it to go on sale or get one that is cheaper. That's just my DD though. Perhaps yours would wear it more often, but is is still worth that kind of cash?

Honestly I'm not sure it will go on sale since they only made I think 2000 of them. The store at the mall down the street from me sold out of there's the first week they had them and said they wouldn't be getting any more!

If you are sold on the Disney one only, my hope is that you stumble upon a sale. However, if you are simply looking for a snow white dress you might try etsy.com. This is a site where people post handmade items for sale. I purchased a gorgeous belle dress for my daughter for our recent trip. It was made by uniquebizaar and was beautifully made. I paid only $75 for the dress, tiarra, earrings, bracelet, necklace, gloves, and hoop skirt.The designer was even willing to make it in pink, my daughter's favorite color for no additional charge. My daughter received so many compliments on this dress and it truly brought tears to my eyes to see her in it. I would do a search for disney princess dresses and see what you find. Some are very reasonably priced while others are way over the top.
