We are going in January and seriously thinking about getting this plan. Not because we want all the food but more for entertainment side of things. My children LOVE LOVE Character meals. This trip we are going to take things slow. We just joined DVC so we don't have the need to see and do everything. It's more to just get away from Ohio winters. We have a 1 bedroom reserved at BW and I love the idea of room service etc...

So anyone else going to try it?

We are and it looks like we will be some of the first to use it and will not have all the info from the boards to help since we arrive Jan.1st. Our first DDP deluxe meal will be Chhef Mickey's at 7:30 am.
I love having the confirmed snacks part of the baords. DH and myself are travleing with 3 15 years olds. Brave aren't we.
We look forward to ttrying out new places and revisiting old ones.

We're going to try the Deluxe plan for our Disneymoon in 2008. I mean, why not, right? :goodvibes

I am planning a summer trip probably late August and plan to do the deluxe meal plan. We loved the character meals and I like that we can do all sit down meals if we want to or do counter service.

I just booked a trip last night for December 2008. I booked the deluxe dining at Pop Century for 8 nights. That gives my family 24 meals!!! I don't know how we're gonna fit in all those meals, park time, and relaxation, but I sure am gonna try.

We already did the regular dining plan in December 2006 and loved it so I'm looking forward to trying this out and many signature restaurants!!!

We booked the free dining bounce back deal for next Sept and upgraded it to the deluxe plan. We cannot wait to try it out! We plan on doing alot of the 2 credit meals like the dinner shows, California Grill, Brown Derby and such.

We're going to be trying it Jan 16 to 27, so I'll be one of the DIS guinea pigs and I'll be sure to post a full dining report when we return. Like you, we're taking it slow this trip because we've got plenty of time, and it is the 3rd trip in 2 years' time so we don't have a pressing need to do everything. I have ADRs for most of our meals, because we're not planning on doing much CS, and we're trying 6 of the 8 signature restaurants over the course of our 11 night trip.

We're hoping to do it in April. We usually have two TS meals a day so the Deluxe will probably be a good choice. It sounds like alot of food but when we check the cost it seems to be a good deal. It's nice to have the mugs, snacks and appetizers included.:goodvibes
