We are doing the deluxe plan in December and I am looking for feedback on people who have done this. I was curious on how they divided there credits if they used them all. Did anyone do 3 ts a day or did most people do 2 ts a day one being a 2 credit meal?

We did a one TS for lunch and 2 TS credits for a big dinner. We are fine with a bowl of cereal or a bagel in the morning. No need to spend all that money on breakfast. Besides, we are eager to be on the move early. However, on our last morning, we did splurge and save one TS for Tango Toast over at Poly before we got in the car to depart.
Personally, I don't think I could three TS a day. We are big eaters but that is just so much food! I suppose you could order less but than what's the point of the deluxe plan if you aren't going to do appetizers or desserts?

In May we are doing 2 TS at diner and either a breakfast of lunch depending on the day (TS) for the other credit. As well we will be doing some in room dining since that includes the tips as well.

Like the previous poster(s), we're using the DxDP for our May trip, and our plan is to do a TS meal for lunch or breakfast, then a signature for dinner. We love signature dining and don't really like CS, so we figured the DxDP was a better choice for us than the DDP.

ETA: Signature Restaurants are worth 2 TS credits. These include Yachstman Steakhouse, Flying Fish, Artist Point, California Grill, Narcoossee's, Citrico's, Hollywood Brown Derby, Jiko, and special things like Cinderella's Royal Table, Hoop Dee Doo, and the Spirit of Aloha show.

Can someone explain what it would take to use 2 TS credits in one meal?

Signature Restaurants and most "dinner shows" require the person to turn in 2TS credits for one meal.

Signature restaurants requiring 2TS credits:
• Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge)
• California Grill (Contemporary Resort)
• CRT character breakfast/lunch/dinner with photo package (Magic Kingdom)
• Citricos (Grand Floridian)
• Flying Fish Café (Boardwalk Inn & Villas)
• Hollywood Brown Derby (MGM Studios)
• Jiko - The Cooking Place (Animal Kingdom Lodge)
• Narcoossee’s (Grand Floridian)
• Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club)

Dinner Shows requiring 2TS credits:
• Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (Polynesian)
• Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (Fort Wilderness)
• Mickey’s Backyard Barbeque (Fort Wilderness)

We're planning to do DxDDP for part of our August trip. Most days we're doing an early buffet breakfast and a Signature dinner.

I'm doing the DxDDP for both my solo trip in May and our Sept trip. I'm doing it different both trips. I've always wanted to try all the Signature restaurants in one trip, so in May I am doing an early TS lunch and a Signature restaurant each night. In Sept, I am traveling with my ex who loves to eat and my mom who is a diabetic and must eat three meals a day, so we are doing three TS meals most days and one Signature restaurant. On that day we'll either eat in the room or use snack credits to get her something.

Just my 2 cents...DH and I are not on the dining plan but we are here now and are finding it very hard to eat 2 TS meals a day..we wind up skipping lunch or cancelling a few reservations because we are just way too full.

I would feel miserable if I had to use all those credits or worry about wasting them.

When we did the regular dining plan it was not enough food. I am not a big fan of fast food and it wasnt exactly fast in Disney it would take up about 45 min to an hour. I think we are going to go with the early breakfast buffets and signatures for dinner on most days. A couple of days we will do 3 meals to get the experience of some of the other restaurants I doubt we will eat everything, but it is still family time.

We are doing deluxe dining in August and spreading our 10 days credits to cover 11 days so that uses some credits. Will be doing a few signature places as well. On the days that we have 3TS meals booked, we are doing a character breakfast in the morning where we won't have all that much to eat. Just enough fruit or whatever to hold us til lunch time. We really love the character experience but are not huge breakfast eaters. And we will more than likely split desserts if we get one at all. The appeal of the deluxe plan for us is the appetizers. Even factoring in sharing or skipping desserts, we will are saving using the plan.
