Its our first time doing the Deluxe dining plan and I am already finding it a little overwhelming.

My ADR+10 opens on wednesday the second of march.

Any advice on possible problems, experiences, substitutes and what I should book first would be great.

Mon 12th free credit for disney springs.

We are staying at saratoga springs so hotel to hotel transport not to much of an issue as we can walk to disney springs and get bus from there.

We are always up early and stay up late on holiday ( sleep is for when we are home) so will book earliest lunch and fairly late dinners and will try to tie some dinners in with fire works if possible.

Its a pain not knowing if rivers of light will be showing every night as would like to tie Jiko i with this.

Also not knowing when MNSSHP will start is a pain too.

There are so many new restaurants coming this year our plans may change again but for now I have to book something on Wednesday :)

Anyway there it is.

Looks great, take elasticated shorts ;).

I'm waiting for River of Light announcement/details too, hopefully soon as I read today it's due to open April (18th or 19th).

Don't wish to be a Debbie Downer but I just cannot imagine spending that much time eating or eating that much food. In would choose as many signatures as possible. Their portions are smaller! I like your choices though. I would personally swap the buffets only because once I've done a buffet at Disney I am done in for the day food wise.

We are doing DxDDP for the first time in May for a week.

It seems to be alot of food, but as you have done we've found it better to book plenty of 2 credit meals :)

We have done deluxe dining, and I hate to say it, but you have 3 days where your eating 3 meals.
I think you will find its just too much food,
Personally I would lesson the days where your eating 3 times a day, and stick to a breakfast or lunch with a 2 credit evening meal.

Also your going when it's hot.
And most people find that they don't feel like earing so much when it's hot.
Your going to spend most of your days getting to adrs waiting to be seated, ( as yes you still wait) and then eating.
Unless your not a fan of doing much in the parks.
The days where you've got a early lunch then late dinner will be alot better.
I absolutely love eating on site, and we do alot of 2 credit meals, I'm just worried your have filled some of your days up a little too much..

I already know its going to be too much food, in 2012 we have the QSDP so only 2 meals and we got 2 snacks each back then and it was still too much food lol :)

I think I will have to stop eating from now until we go :) I do plan on running everyday we are there so hopefully that will burn of at least 1 mickey bar :)
Hope you enjoy yours x

My worry is spending all the time just getting to ADRs, We have both been a few times in the past few years so we are not in a rush to do anything in particular in the parks Just soak up the atmosphere and do what rides we can.
My problem with the signatures is a lot of them are only open for evening dining and I have no more space to fit them in :)
I wanted to do flying fish and fultons but both look like they will be shut when we are there :(
My hubby really wants to do tuskers house breakfast so Might see what else I can swap around to use up a few more credits.

Thanks for the advice everyone :)

Even with the number of times we have been that would be way too much time spent on eating in restaurants. Even a quick TS meal will take around an hour.

I also couldn't be that structured with having 3 meals a day booked.

In summer we have a proper breakfast & dinner or early lunch & dinner. It's too hot for any more food.

You have a nice mix of restaurants though :thumbsup2

You have a great choice of restaurants although I don't think I could eat all of that food.

We normally grab breakfast in the hotel lounge, eat a late lunch either in a park or around the pool and eat dinner in a TS. If we do get peckish we fill up on snacks from the hotel lounge and it's ample for us.

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

I am just talking to the DH and we are having a bit of a change around. going to get rid of 2 of the breakfasts and another regular meal and swap for a couple more signatures.

Just trying to work out where to squeeze them in :)

How did you get on Sarah?! :)

How did you get on Sarah?! :)

Im alive Just :)

Think I have managed to sort out what I wanted will check with the DH when he is home.

I did however waste the first hour of my time as when I was booking I just used the Breakfast lunch or dinner times and I was getting 9am, 2pm and 7pm as the times coming up so I booked them thinking that all the good slots had gone.

Then I realised that if you pick and actual time it had them available so I had to cancel all my reservations and start again :(

I actually took a days annual leave to do this and people at work think its crazy but it has taken me 3 hours so I am glad I did.

Will post an updated list later to see what you all think :)
