Have we lost our minds?!?! DH and I are traveling with DD (2) and my mom and step-dad. We are on separate reservations, but both parties have deluxe dining. I'm trying to plan out some of the major meals now, well before I can make ressies in March. Here is what I have so far. What else would you recommend we throw in there? We are staying at the Poly.

Arrival Day:
Ohana Dinner (1)

Day 2:
Flame Tree BBQ (1)

Day 3:
Le Cellier Dinner (2)

Day 4:

Day 5:
Brown Derby Lunch (2)

Day 6:
CRT Lunch (2)

Departure Day:
Kona Cafe (1)

Nothing to do with the question but I've noted that 4 of your current choices require a credit card hold - please check the Reservations sub-board for info on what happens if you have to cancel - with a 2 year old I don't know if you are anticipating making it to every meal and you'd have to cancel 2 days before dining the way Disney does it, also remember you need to list the 2 year old on your reservations.

You haven't lost your mind. Our daughter was 3 when we first did deluxe dining.
Just be sure to use the vast majority of your credits for table service restaurants, or else you will be better off skipping the plan and just paying OOP.
6 nights = 18 credits. To approximate, make sure you are using at least 14-15 credits for TS, or else you would be better off skipping the plan.
So far, you only have 8 credits allocated.

I do think that many 2-year-olds would be fine at just about any restaurant on property. I'd just suggest eating on the earlier side. (No 8 pm dinner reservations. Make it closer to 6).

Since staying at the Poly -- I would probably due the Luau. And possibly go over to Hoop De Doo as well. California Grill, a quick monorail ride away, is also a good choice with a 2 year-old, as it's pretty loud, and they can be distracted by the great view out the window.
For departure day, I might consider Ohana breakfast over Kona Cafe, *IF* you want to get in 1 more character experience.

Thanks! At least 2 of the meals (Le Cellier and Brown Derby) will be child free. My mom and stepdad will be taking DD for a while so we can enjoy some time alone. CRT is all about DD, so unless she is sick, I can't see cancelling that one.

You aren't crazy - we did the DxDDP with DD when she was 16mo and again at 30mo, and we'd have it again for our trip this week if the rest of our travel party hadn't run into some financial issues that prompted us to downgrade. At 3yo my DD has been to every one of Disney's signature restaurants except Citricos and the couple that were just added to the plan for this year, and she has *great* taste! The extra snacks really came in handy too, because she often just wanted milk or fruit or some other little thing between meals and snack credits covered all of that.

Staying at the Poly, I think California Grill would be a good choice. It is the most child-friendly of the signatures by far. They bring goldfish crackers with the bread course, the view is entertaining, and the atmosphere is louder than many of the other signatures so normal kid-noise doesn't stand out.
