Our family goes to DW in September every year and have been lucky enough to get FD. We have never paid the extra and got the Deluxe Dining. We have 3 rooms (12 of us) I think 3 TS per day per person seems like a lot so I was wondering if one of our rooms with 4 people got the Deluxe plan and the other 8 people got the regular DP....are you allowed to share the credits with the rest of our party in the other 2 rooms? We all eat meals together. Thank you for your help

Yes, recent experience has been you can share credits with others. We did this without any issues in October. You may want to consider taking the room discount on one or maybe even two rooms and then upgrading free dining to the deluxe on the other. You can also maximize your savings on this by putting the deluxe plan on a room with children if you have any. The credits are pooled and can be used for anyone.

Is there any difference with the credits for a child? Still 3TS & 2 Snacks & a mug? Also do you have to order kids meals?

When you are using the DxDDP the credits are not separated the way that te TS credits are in the DDP. They are simply credits. If you have a child under 10 ordering at a TS restaurant it is sometimes possible for the child to order from the adult menu, but that is not a promise. In the brochure it states that children must order from the children's menu, so if a server allows it, consider that a gift. My girls were able to a few times when they really did not want anything on the children's menu.
