Deluxe Dining Plan Question

I just upgraded to the Dxddp and we have me, DH and DS (13 who is considered an Adult) and DS (8) so we are 3 Adults and 1 Child. Under this plan you get 3 meals which you can use as TS or CS, 2 snacks and mug. For us for the 7 nights it comes out to 84 TS or CS meals. As you use them the number goes down. My question is how do they know the difference between adult and child when it comes to using these credits? My thing is for the most part my 13 year old is very picky and has braces and is more likely to eat off the kids menu. While my 8 year old will eat anything and might like things off the regular menu. Can I switch their meals if that's the case? Our last trip we ate at Tony's at MK and the kids spaghetti & meatball was way to small for my younger son. I am hoping this time to either pay oop or switch meals as it was more then enough for my older son. Any help would be appreciated.:cool1:

Thanks.

I cant see this being a problem as long as all the adults order the adult meals and your 8YO orders the kids meal. Then just switch plates.

Actually what you have is 63 Adult credits and 21 Child's credits. Your room key will show 3A 1C. At any transaction all you will be allowed to order will be 3 adults meals and 1 child's meal. On your receipt it will show how many adult and how many child's credits you have left. Once the plates get on the table, they don't care who eats which meal though.

Now you will also have 56 snack credits. Those are not differentiated between adult and children.

I thought on Deluxe it doesn't separate adult and child credits, as long as the max used at any time was as shown on the card, in this case 3A 1C.

You are correct. On the deluxe plan, your receipt only shows the total # of meal credits that you have left. It does not separate out adult and child.

And yes, if your card says 3A 1C, then when you place your order, those are the max credits you can use at any given meal.

There were times that my son would be asleep when we went to dinner and we didn't use his meal credit at that meal. You don't need to keep track of child credits or adult credits. You just use them up until they are gone.
