Deluxe Dining Plan and sharing credits?

Our card will read 3 adults and 2 children. If we have 4 adults at a meal and 2 children.. will we have any problem letting the 4th. adult share part of our meals, not a buffet meal.

The deluxe plan is so much food I don't see any reason ordering more food. I know the policy is no sharing for anyone not on the plan... but what is the real experience. I don't think it will be a problem but wanted to know if anyone has ever experienced this. Thanks!

Official policy is no. And I do think you might run into trouble if that 4th person solely shares. If that 4th person orders their own meal, and just takes some bites of the appetizers and desserts, I doubt you would have any trouble.

As it is the policy of the DIS restaurant boards to not allow discussion of going around the rule, we would have to delete real experiences that did that, and as that is what the OP is asking for I will close the thread. Havoc has given a good interpretation of Disney's rule.
