Deluxe dining/kids share

If we go to Cali grill, will it matter if my 4&7 year old share a meal so we can save 2 credits. Then we can use them for cs one day for lunch. I know the kids have shared before but at that time I don't think my youngest was on the plan. I know my husband and I shared once at the plaza. Would it matter at a 2ts.
I also wonder if we pay oop for the kids meal can we do that then we would have 4 meals left. I know we have to use them on kids meals so we would Go to cs. This option most likely will not happen but just wondering if you have done that.

I don't think it would matter if your DS3 just eats some of your DS7's food and yours, not sure if they have an "extra plate" charge. I'd think you would still want to order something for DS3 a la carte. But that will end up costing you $5 probably anyway. Even, if we did that and managed to save any credits, we would probably end up not using them. For us, the deluxe DDP saves plenty so I'm not worrying about maximizing every dollar.

DS at age 3, 4 and 5 was always very hungry after a hard day in the parks. There's no way 1/2 a kids meal at California grill would fill him up and he would not like what we order.
On the deluxe DDP, we had a TS lunch and dinner every night, and a few character breakfasts too.

By the way... we LOVE California Grill. DW says they have the best filet of beef and I like the sushi and seafood entrees. They have a fun kids dessert that looks like sushi (rice crispies, gummy worms and fish, etc...). And some nice views of MK from up high (great at sunset too).

Thanks for the info. We will only be there 2 nights/ 3 days on this trips I know that credits will all be used.

Update. I no longer need anymore info on my question. We decided to skip the Cali grill and do the wave.
