Deluxe DDP Questions

OK. Im a little confised about the Deluxe DDP. What exactly do you get as for credits for meals. I get that you get 2 snacks per person/per day and a refill mug per person, but what about the meals. Does Disney give you 3 credits a day per person and throw it at you and say have fun, you can eat 3 TS meals a day or 3 CS meals a day OR do you get 3 TS credits, or 3 CS credits, or maybe 2 TS and 1 CS credit? What is it exactly? Also I noticed that its good for 1-10 nights. Could you get the Deluxe DDP if you are going for 12 nights / 13 days? Also how much is the Deluxe DDP?

Let me see if I can answer a few of your questions.

The deluxe dining plan gives you three meal credits per night per person. You can use those credits any way you'd like, you can have three 1 credit TS meals or one 1 credit and one 2 credit meal, or you can do three counter service meals or any combination of those things. You can basically use them in basically any combination as well (like having two 2 credit meals in a day, using 4 credits in a day).

Because you'll get more bang for your buck using the credits for table service meals, you need to do more advance planning and make more reservations. It's also a bit more food than most people eat during their WDW vacation so you have to think carefully about timing of meals, so you don't find yourself heading to a meal while still stuffed from the previous meal.

Cost...adults are $69.99/night for adults, $19.99 for kids 3-9.

You will receive all of your credits right at check in. Use them however and whenever you want. Say you get 24 credits to use. You could eat 24 times on your first day or spread it out along your trip. Same for the snacks.
