just FYI.... I found round trip tickets at Delta.com for $135 from Nashville to Orlando !!!!

Good for you! :thumbsup2
We were lucky with Delta, too (even though my first choice is SWA) for our upcoming trip, but I do have one "caution" for you............please keep checking your flights on their web page. Within a few months, our flight, flight numbers, seat assignments, etc. were changed, and we were never notified. :sad2:
Luckily, the changes were minor, but if I hadn't picked up on them right away and called immediately, our seats would have been worse. Also, if you do have to speak to customer service, if you're not able to get your point across, ask for a supervisor; supervisors are usually in the US, while customer services is oursourced to India, and there can be a language barrier.
Don't mean to sound so down on Delta, but I found that I have to stay on top of them much more so than with SWA!
Now, all I have to worry about is my luggage making it to MCO................ :rolleyes1

11 more days 'til WDW...............

When are you flying out of Nashville? I've been checking prices for my April trip and can't even get close to those numbers but now there may be hope :bounce:

DL out of Nashville uses the small jets and they actually tend to have fewer changes then the other flights. (I think because it really is a plane that just runs back and forth, not making hub connections so it's not as affected by changes to other flights)

Couldn't agree more, DVC Grammy! Both on last year's trip and this year's (yes, we went with the lowest fare) Delta changed/adjusted our flights numerous times - often by a few moments. This year we've managed to keep our good seats (in front of the engines), but last year we lost them and ended up sitting behind the engines.

And I know folks will say it's not just Delta - that they all do it, and that they're really not trying to snatch your good seats to sell to a new customer paying more money, but we had seats to Puerta Vallarta booked at least 6 months in advance on Alaska Air and there were no schedule changes. We sat in exactly the same seats we first bought and the schedule did not change by one minute - so we know it can be done!
