Delta vs AirTran? Which one and why?

Both have direct flights to MCO for our upcoming trip. Is one better than the other? The price difference is around $100 more for Delta.

I would go with Air Tran if it's a $100 less. Delta is in bankruptcy, a pilot strike is threatened and they are constantly making flight changes per the posts on this board. I've flown Air Tran many times without a problem.
